Today’s quote:

Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakes. ~ Carl Jung

There are many ways to interpret this quote, and Jung himself had something very specific in mind, but I’d like you to just take it at face value.

As an artist, you have to “dream”. You have to look outside to see beauty (or horror) and be inspired.

Looking inside, and not being scared of what you might find, is the other part of the equation however: It ultimately drives you, helps you to turn dreams into reality, and makes you (and your art) different from everyone else.

So which side are you on, and are you prepared to have a look at the other?
