Today’s quote:

To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~ Joseph Chilton Pearce

Did you ever look at other artists and think: “I’ll never be as good as them?” Do you still worry about “not getting it right”?

Most artists you admire probably have exactly the same doubts from time to time. The only difference is that they carry on regardless. They embrace the fact that not everything they create is “right” first time round, so they try again. And sometimes, the wrong thing might even turn out to be the right thing in the end…

  1. I’m really feeling this now, as I get better I see other people get better and surpass me. Yet I keep on and that’s the only way we can improve.

    1. Thanks for your comment and your honesty.
I think it’s really about fully committing and having an eye on what you want to achieve, and then taking one step at a time to get there. What others (can) do doesn’t matter at all – or so is the theory (I know it matters to most of us at one time or another ;)).
All the best for your work!
