(Musical) performance anxiety can range from a low to moderate feeling of “nerves” to symptoms so debilitating they stop artists from being able to go on stage. It is time to stop the stigma and encourage performers to come forward and seek help without feeling shame.

In a recent Facebook LIVE session, I tried to shed some light on performance anxiety, from reasons some people are more vulnerable than others to the kind of help available. I also answered some of your questions during the broadcast. It is important to note that there is no one size fits all approach, so it is not really possible to recommend “hacks” with a good conscience.

If you have any further questions not answered yet, feel free to leave them in the comments.
